Rocket’s Paw Balm

Rocket’s Paw Balm is all natural made with Calendula infused olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, Vitamin E and organic beeswax. Calendula has antiviral, anti inflammatory properties and aids in soothing irritated tissue.

The natural ingredients in Rocket’s Paw Balm conditions and protects your dogs pads, helping them become more pliable, while reducing the risk of injury against rough rocky roads, hot tar surfaces, ice, salt or steaming concrete. Rocket’s Paw Balm also aids against slippage allowing your dog greater mobility on tile or hardwood floors. You can also use Rocket’s Paw Balm on your dog’s nose, when it’s dry or flaky.

Directions: Smooth a small amount of ointment into the pads of paws. Do not use on cuts, blisters or if pads are torn.

Ingredients: Calendula infused olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, Vitamin E, beeswax.

$10.00 each. A small amount goes a long ways.

Delmar Farmer’s Market

I am very happy to announce that Rocket’s Canine Cookies will be available at the Delmar’s Farmer’s Market starting  June 25 from 9am-1pm.

The Delmar Farmers Market is a premier Capital District farmers market just 5 minutes from Albany at the Bethlehem Central Middle School, 332 Kenwood Avenue, Delmar, New York.

The market is now open every Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM, until December 17.

About Us

The mission of the Delmar Farmers Market is to provide a marketplace that introduces local farmers and other food producers and craftspeople to the community. We will promote sustainable farming, healthy foods, environmental awareness, and support local and fair trade businesses.

Our market is right next door to Albany, and it is one of the biggest farmers markets in the Capital District. Last year, the market made The Daily Meal’s list of the 101 Best Farmers Markets in America for 2015.

Market Etiquette:

  • No pets allowed — we love them, but we need to be respectful of others.
  • Please bring your own bags and help cut down on plastic.
  • Please bring a reusable cup to fill with coffee, tea, cider, and lemonade, and help cut down on waste.
  • No smoking, please!

Our Vendors

The market features local, organic and natural farm products, baked goods, wine, beer, and spirits, food concessions, and local and fair trade crafts. Most of our vendors come from within 35 miles of the market. Click here to see our vendors on an interactive map.

Today was the grand opening of the Andersen Dog Park in Glenville. Through a generous donation by the property owner the Town of Glenville  developed it into a beautiful dog park. Despite the rain it was a great turnout.

April 11, 2016 is National Pet Day

Today is National Pet Day! This holiday is all about appreciating and celebrating the wonderful pets in your life. Did you know that there are approximately 86.4 million pet cats and 78.2 million pet dogs living in the United States today? Gerbils, birds, turtles, and fish are also very common. If you consider your pet a member of the family, you are by no means alone. Six out of ten pet owners feel the same way!
